Salmagundi Trail Race

Come on out and race before the holidays on the fastest course this side of the Mississippi! With rolling hills and wide trails, this is a great race for beginner trail runners and you speedsters alike! Nestled on the Pedernales River in the Texas Hill Country. Live music from Steel and Betty.

With beautiful overlooks of the Pedernales River, this route is all trail. With a salmugundi of double track, single track, and jeep trail this race is great for your first trail run or fastest trail run!

Day use is $5/person cash only! (we cover participant’s park entry)

Tent Camping: Camping is not allowed at this park

Amenities: Port-o-toilets + park restrooms

Ranch rules: Pets on leash only.

Aid Station Food

(Remember we are cup-less) please bring a handheld water bottle or collapsible cup to run with. We highly recommend bringing more water than normal as the route is exposed and in the desert.

We have fully stocked aid stations with Skratchlabs products such as chews and electrolyte drinks. There will be water and electrolyte drinks, coke and gingerale, plus pb&j, cookies, crackers, and salty and sweet snacks.

We are cup-less
We won't have water cups out on the table. Please bring a handheld bottle. Hand sanitizer will be available at all aid stations.

Vehicles
Parking is near the race start/finish line. Vehicles don’t have access to aid stations.

Drop bags
Marathon/52k drop bags can be left at the start/finish line area aid station.

Changing Race Distances

You may change your race distance as long as it is no closer than 1 month before the race date. Simply login to your Ultrasignup.com account and go to our race. Here are more details on how to change your race distance.

Transferring Bibs

For the first time ever we are allowing you to transfer your bibs! The deadline to do so is 1 month before race day.

Refunds/Credits

We do not offer credits or refunds.
