Our Sunday long runs will start on Feb 26th. This is the weekend after the Austin Marathon, and will be open to all Trail Roots members. If you are not a member, now is a great opportunity to join us!
We love back-to-back long runs. We love to run Austin trails on Saturday, and now we can have Austin road running on Sunday! While many of our Austin runners do road runs on Sunday already, we wanted to offer a more structured training environment. We also realized that many runners and triathletes can't make the Saturday road runs. Adding an Austin Sunday long run now gives those athletes support.
This is also a great opportunity for those preparing for races like The Boston Marathon, as well as local Austin road races like the Statesman Cap 10k and for next years Austin Marathon, half marathon, and 5k. Through this April, with the Statesman Cap 10k and Boston Marathon in mind, we have planned out some great routes for the group supported with water stops along the way! Come out on Feb 26th at 7am and run with us. All you need to do is sign up on the free trial week link.
